- Access New Face Registration Module:**
- Open the mobile application. - Select the "New Face Registration" module.
- Capture Your Facial Biometrics:**
- Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the facial recognition process. - Ensure you are in a well-lit environment for optimal results. - Position your face correctly within the frame as guided by the prompts.
- Register Multiple Images:**
- Capture and register 2 or more images of your face.
- Background Considerations:**
- For best results, use a plain white background during enrollment. - Alternatively, if using different backgrounds, ensure multiple images are enrolled to enhance recognition accuracy.
- Why Register Multiple Images with Various Backgrounds?**
Registering 2 or more images of your face with multiple backgrounds serves two essential purposes:
1. **Enhanced Recognition Accuracy:**
- By registering multiple images, the system can better capture variations in your facial features under different lighting conditions and backgrounds. - This enhances the system's ability to recognize your face accurately during attendance marking, reducing the likelihood of false rejections or acceptances.
2. **Adaptation to Environment:**
- Enrolling images with diverse backgrounds helps the system adapt to various environmental conditions. - It ensures robust performance across different settings, such as varying lighting conditions or backgrounds encountered during attendance recording.
