We are excited to announce the addition of the 9-Box Grid and Performance Matrix feature in our Appraisal and Performance Management module of this application.

This feature allows managers to categorize their team members into one of nine boxes based on their current performance and future potential, facilitating more informed talent management decisions. We are excited to announce the introduction of the "9-Box Grid and Performance Matrix Setup" module, now available under the Appraisal Setup screen. This enhancement provides improved tools for managing appraisal types and rating classifications.


Key Features and Details

Action Buttons: The screen now includes 'Save,' 'Add,' and 'Reject Changes' buttons for streamlined management.
Appraisal Type Selection: When 'Add' is selected, two 'Appraisal Type' columns appear, each with a combo list for selecting different appraisal types to be displayed on the graph's axes.
Data Integrity: The system ensures that the same appraisal type cannot be saved on both axes, maintaining data accuracy.
Enhanced Columns: The screen features four main columns:

  • 'Rating Classification on X Axis'
  • 'Rating Classification on Y Axis'
  • 'Final Result'
  • 'Final Result Selected Columns'

Dropdown Options: The classification columns offer dropdown lists containing all 'result classification' options.
HTML Toolbox: The result columns include an HTML toolbox, enabling users to format individual quadrants of the graph for better visual representation.


  • Appraisal Result Classification: A new column named 'Short Name' has been added to the Appraisal Result Classification screen.
  • HRS_R010 - Consolidated Leave Card : The "Action By” column has been added before the "Action Remarks" column in the report.
  • HRS_R010 - Consolidated Leave Card: Two parameters have been added in System Default: 1. Attendance ID:Which shows attendance in the Salary Sheet. 2.Attendance Visible with (YES/NO) values. A column for Attendance has been added in the Salary Sheet for every report, which shows the attendance of employees.
  • HRS_S110 - Applicant Shortlist : 1. On the "Applicant Shortlist" screen, a new checkbox for 'Nationality' has been added when selecting the 'Selection Criteria'. When this checkbox is checked, a combo box for nationality has been enabled. 2. The 'Applied for This Request' checkbox has been set to be selected by default, with 'Yes' chosen in the field.3. By default, the "Request no" checkbox has been left unchecked, and this combo has been ensured to work properly.
  • HRS_S110 - Applicant Shortlist: A checkbox for "Special certification" with values of (Yes/No) has been added in the Special Criteria, and applicants have been shortlisted based on this checkbox. The option to download the Special certification has been made available in the grid.
  • TOM_R002 - Individual Time Sheet (Standard): An "Attendance Day" column has been added after the "Attendance Date" column.
  • TOM_R016 - Individual Time Sheet (Advanced): An "Attendance Day" column has been added after the "Attendance Date" column.
  • HRS_S108 - Applicant Information: A field for "Download Special Attachment" has been added. If any applicant has uploaded a special attachment from e-recruitment, this attachment can now be downloaded from this screen.
  • SET_S005 - System Default: New parameters have been added for the tax surcharge calculation : 1. Surcharge_Tax_Percentage (its value would be 10%) 2. Suracharge _Exempt_Taxable_limit (its value would be 10M)
  • PAY_S020 - Payroll Process: If the salary of any employee has exceeded 10 million, an additional 10% has been applied to the taxed amount as per the policy.
  • TOM_S014 - Overtime Approval: On the “Overtime approval” screen, the “Edit” and “Delete” options have remained available until the payroll has been finalized. Furthermore, if any record has been edited or deleted using this screen, it has been directly reflected in the “Monthly Time Sheet Approval.
  • PAY_R004 - Salary Sheet :Two new radio buttons have been added when the user has clicked on the "With Additional Columns" option : "Position/Grade/CNIC/Joining Date" and "Position/Grade."
  • RMS_S004 - Manage Request : On the "Manage Requests" screen, when a user has clicked on the additional information, the details section has displayed comprehensive information from the request initialization to the latest action.
  • HRS_S218 - Appraisal Result Classification : A new column name "Short Name" has been added.
  • HRS_S034 - Leave Request:- 1. Two columns, "Geo location" and "Org location," have been added after the employee name. 2. The searching functionality has been enabled and is working correctly for both "Geo location" and "Org location." 3. In the Advanced Search popup window, the "Geo location" field has been added below the "Employee Name" field, the "Org location" field has been added below the "Alternate Emp" field.

Fixed Issues

  • TOM_S014 - Overtime Approval: The labeling of both radio buttons, "Show Employee Not Required Overtime Approval" and "Show Employee Required Overtime Approval," changed.
  • PAY_S024 - Employee Tax Adjustment: When we selected the year 2024-2025 for tax adjustment, data from 2023-2024 was also shown, whereas it should have displayed only data from July 2024 to June 2025.
  • PAY_S042 - Employee Basic Salary Editing: After inputting the basic salary, when the user clicked on the save button without clicking on the Gross Salary button, the system was not shown a proper validation message.
  • HRS_S117 - Full and Final Settlement: When the check mark was applied on "reduce encashment amount as per the employee separation is yearly than the leave year end," the system was not encashing the leave balance on a prorate basis.
  • PAY_R017 - Loan Sanction List: If the loan had been successfully completed, the outstanding column in the report was not displaying an amount of 0, indicating that the entire loan had been paid off.
  • HRS_R010 - Consolidated Leave Card: "Org. Location:" filter was not working properly.
  • PAY_S006 - Allowance Deduction Location Grade Setup: Attend description not showing as attend id was showing. This issue occurred because data from another page was selected under the "attend ID" field. When the second page entry was selected in this field, only the data from page 2 appeared on the main grid panel.
  • TOM_S029 - Overtime Approval: On the overtime approval screen, when utilizing the 'Show Employee Required Overtime Approval' checkbox, the functionality associated with the checkbox 'it is allowed to approve overtime/TOIL more than the actual extra hours?' was not working properly.
  • PAY_S056 - Fund Withdrawal: When a user searched data by "fund description," "employee ID," or "employee name," the fund withdrawal history did not display any data.
  • TOM_S018 - Machine Attendance Loading: Data was not showing in the "Employee Not Exists" tab when a user uploads a file from "File Uploading" tab.
  • TOM_S003 - Time Slot: update the checkbox label in the "overtime approval rule" block to "It is allowed to approve overtime/TOIL more than the actual extra hours?"
  • PAY_S008 - Overtime Location Grade Setup: Combo boxes were truncating.
  • PAY_R004 - Salary Sheet: while utilizing the report R036 , all fields are showing in rounding and show 00 value after decimal , while al fields should show the values after decimal without rounding them and show as it is vales as they are in.
  • Dashboard - Dashboard: The system was showing incorrect "Organogram" spelling on the screen.
