Introducing "9-Box Grid and Performance Matrix"
We are excited to announce the addition of the 9-Box Grid and Performance Matrix feature in our Appraisal and Performance Management module of this application.
Overview:
The 9-Box Grid is a powerful tool designed to help organizations assess Employee Performance and Potential in a visually intuitive format. This feature allows managers to categorize their team members into one of nine boxes based on their current performance and future potential, facilitating more informed talent management decisions.

Enhanced Performance Evaluation: Easily visualize where each employee stands in terms of performance and potential, aiding in objective assessments.
Talent Development: Identify high performers and high-potential individuals for succession planning and targeted development opportunities.
Strategic Decision Making: Support talent review discussions with data-driven insights, enabling more strategic workforce planning.
Performance Matrix:
In conjunction with the 9-Box Grid, the Performance Matrix provides a more granular view of employee performance across various competencies. It allows managers to evaluate specific skills and competencies, making it easier to align individual goals with organizational objectives.
How to Access:
This new feature can be accessed within the Appraisal and Performance Management module. Simply enter the data in the newly created 9-Box Grid and Performance Matrix Setup screen to utilize the 9-Box Grid and Performance Matrix for your team assessments.
- HRS_S229 - 9-Box Grid and Performance Matrix Setup: A new setup screen has been created in the "Setup" folder of the "Appraisal and Performance Management" module to create setup for the "9-Box Grid and Performance Matrix". It will be displayed as a Graphical representation in the "SmartESS" application.
- HRS_S218 - Appraisal Result Classification: A new column named "Short Name" has been added to the screen to show the names/points on the "X-Axis" and "Y-Axis" for the "9-Box Grid and Performance Matrix".

- HRS_R010 - Consolidated Leave Card: The "Action By" column has been added before the "Action Remarks" column in the report.
- PAY_R004 - Salary Sheet: Two new parameters have been added in the "System Default" screen: 1. "ATTEND_REQ_IN_SALARY_SHEET" - which is used to show the "Attend Days/Hours" column in the report. Having values (Y/N). 2. "ATTEND_REQ_ADCODE_IN_SALARY_SHEET" - which is used to show the value in the "Attend Days/Hours" column in the report as it is defined against the entered "Allowance" for this parameter. "Surcharge_Tax_Percentage" - It is used to enter the Percentage of "Surcharge Tax". 2. "Surcharge_Exempt_Taxable_Limit" - It is used to enter exemption amount limit to calculate "Surcharge Tax".
